On Earth Day, Metropolitan Transit Authority launched MTA MetroCard for Earth Day which “MetroCard” is color in green instead of blue.
Does anyone notice the back of green MetroCard?
I cannot ask riders in person, so if you got one, can you type the exact words on Earth Day special MTA MetroCard please.

We live in the NY suburbs and so only ride the subway every few months. We find it very annoying that Metrocards expire. Since they don’t lock you into a particular fare, it seems that they should be good indefinitely. Are they just ripping people off, or is there some good reason they do this?
Scott – changing the price is irrelevant. You don’t buy a certain number of rides, you prepay a certain amount of $$.

Preferably online. Might be cool if you found some all the way from the ’50’s when it was created.
