Itr all depends on the mail service you are wanting to use. If it is yahoo, you have to be a premium (paying) member to get that. GMail has SMTP and POP3 for free. Most web based e-mail services do not have a SMTP or POP access. Check your e-mail providers tech support to see what the SMTP and POP settings are if they are even allowed.
SMTP – Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (sending mail to the server)
POP3 – Post Office Protocol version 3 (receiving mail from the server)

You have to figure out your provider’s SMTP address.
Google- smtp.google.com
Hotmail- (Use HTTP option) mail.hotmail.com
Yahoo- smtp.mail.yahoo.com

You can get the SMTP address or POP3 address when u sign-up
with a e-mail client. If they provide POP3 sevice for free they would give u all the details after u get registered with them or else some would provide by taking charges for the service. For ur information Google mail provides free POP3 Service.
