    I don’t understand the question

linux sendmail is not a client or user agent(like Outlook or Outlook Express).

What is the function you require?
    1. Are you using an email client (simian or thunderbird)?
    2. Do you want to use sendmail as a forwarding agent to your companies server i.e. your email client (simian) will connect to your email server (sendmail) and sendmail will in turn relay messages to your company servers.
For this you need to configure sendmail.cf as a mail relay and setup your server. Also your company’s mail admin needs to know that your email server is a valid one and provide authorization on his mail server to accept emails from your email server.

I have a feeling you are looking for the first option.

You don’t use Sendmail as a client, you use it as a proxy and the client retrieves the mail from the Sendmail Proxy server.

This is much how YPOPs allows the free version of Yahoo mail to be retrieved with Outlook, Outlook Express or Thunderbird.

I think you should know first the functions of software you want to use before you do something.

Sendmail is a email server and not a client email. You use Thunderbird, Evolution or MS Outlook as your email client.
