Generally these are secured Networks that require you to first type in your username and password then you can access your mail account.
If you can get on the INternet fine then you need to click on Mail then Tools, then scroll down to Accounts Then click Mail and then click Properties, then click Servers.
This is where you will set up and change the settings to get your Mail set up. But, you must have the correct SMTP settings. Example: smtp.yahoomail.net
